The following audio was found in a house in New England. Where in New England is not important. The audio came from a tape recorder, and found in the house was a young girl's body, no older than seven, with a bullet in her head. No other bodies were found that day:
"I'm recording this because people need to know what happened. There is a little girl in a bedroom two doors away, sound asleep. But she's not a little girl. It
"I'm getting ahead of myself, aren't I? Look, my name is George Marston. Me and my wi
The voice stops for a moment as the man on the tape starts to cry. After about ten seconds he stops, as if listening to something in the background. For a good minute there is no audio at all, and finally, the man starts up again.
"I was married I should say
my wife has been dead for
oh God a week now
a-anyway, we had a daughter, and named her Sherry. And
when she was seven
The voice once again stops, but rather than silence, a shuffling can be heard in the background. A little girl's voice can be heard faintly: "Daddy?" A good twenty seconds go by of silence, and finally another set of shuffling is heard, this time moving away from the recorder.
"Oh dear God it almost found me
.A-A-Anyway, our daughter died. My wife and I had a wake and a funeral, and she was buried in the local cemetery. After another week, though, my wife and I were growing apart
"Then one day there was a knock on the door, and when we opened it, there was a man in a tux standing on our front porch. It seemed our prayers had been answered, because he said he could bring our daughter back, good as new. The only problem, he said, was that if we waited too long, there would be significant changes in her. We just closed the door on his face, saying we would think about it. The next day he came back over, and even though my wife and I thought he was crazy, we accepted the offer. He told us that we may have waited too long, but still, he brought us to the graveyard."
"We were only there for a half an hour. The man was on his knees, just waiting, as if feeling for her spirit. Then, after that half an hour, he uttered one word. Neither my wife nor I understood what the word was or what language it was in, but it seemed like there was
power in that word. He then smiled, and told us we could go home."
The audio stops once again, and in the far background, very softly, a crying girl can be heard.
"The next morning, we woke up, and there was our daughter, cuddled with her favorite teddy bear, on the end of our bed. She was wearing the same dress she was buried in, and was covered in dirt, but she seemed so alive. That's when she opened her eyes. 'Mommy', she whispered, and my wife just got up and hugged her. I joined into the hug, and it seemed as if things would go back to normal
"Except everything wasn't normal. Over the course of the first two weeks, our daughter kept getting more and more hungry. She just couldn't stop eating, and yet she never gained any weight. The man came over at the end of the second week, saying that he had made a mistake, that we had waited too long, and that we needed to kill her. And that if we didn't kill her a certain way, then something very, VERY bad would happen."
"We didn't even think. The parental parts of our brains went into overdrive and before we knew it, he was dead on the ground. But we needed to protect our daughter
and when she came into the room, looking at the body, she just smiled. And started eating."
"Have you ever seen a little girl eat a whole human being before? And then
one day she was hungry
and there was nothing to eat
and I was at work, but her mother was home and when I came back
"I-I have to kill her
God forgive me
The voice isn't heard for a while, but a number of distinguishable sounds can be heard. First is the sound of a weapon, most likely a revolver, being loaded. The sound of footsteps appears, walking away from the recorder. We can hear a little girl crying. "Pl-pl-please Daddy, don't do it!! I'm just so hungry!!!!" The little girl's screams stop as a roaring "BANG" can be heard. Footsteps can then be heard returning to the recorder.
"It's done..she can't hurt anybody more
why am I so hungry?"
